Apparent Merits/Flaws: Animal Magnetism Description: Scrawny, abrasive, head shaved. Pic attacked. Brief Character Biography: Chaela Lloyd Hometown: Cardiff Wales, Great Britian Adopted Hometowns: Mumbai/Boston Chaela was born actually outside of Cardiff but it was the nearest center of commerce and people. During the the War like many children she was sent into isolated places in the countryside. Her benefactor's fortune had been built upon the East Indian Trading company by his father and grandfather and her time there was filled with exposure to this extraneous culture. When she went back to her own home, she grew up in the postwar countryside, far enough from London to recieve much notice from parliament for reconstruction...And like many in her generation and the generation behind her she grew up disillusioned and angry... By the time she was in her mid-teens, she had fallen in with the Rude Crowd, known for jamaician influence, something she felt a kinship to from her time as a child, and reggae music, unlike anything traditionally known, was making a name for itself in the underground clubs and mixed race discoteques. She began to frequent the curry shops and met and became friends with the small pockets of youth that had brought the culture with them during their emigration from the south. Her parents were horrified but she took to the subculture with a vengeance and through quick wits, and a personal drive to be just as good as anyone else, she made a minor name for herself and when she went to Mumbai and spent time with some of the original leaders of the modern movement, she accepted the somewhat rare honor of having her head shaved as an induction process. Chaela had become a skinhead. Despite the modern idea of a skinhead, she did not support a white supremacist mentality, and despises most who do. She has intolerance for laziness, for irresponsibility...A code of honor was important to her and within a year she had made good friends among the 'elders' one in particular that began showing her ...extra attention...outside of the usual get-togethers. She was still young and easily swept up in the flattery of such a relationship...and eventually it spilled over though the night it actually happened was lost in a haze of alcohol. Her place at his side became established for the next 10 years where she cultivated a taste for non-anglican blood that made it distasteful to her. In 1975 she made her first trip to Boston, the scene of the american skinhead culture as something of a celebrity because she came with her long time 'old man'. After that, she made regular visits to Boston and because of a magnetic personality she tended to gather a small cadre of friends and followers...And she became known for a fearless get-the-job-done type, and she was quick to find ways to get things procured, people things they wanted...It was her main trade. especially when her sire was killed in a 'riot' during 1981. The next 20 years she has done nothing but create a name for herself, she stays inside the laws of each city...even as she skirts them with a quick tongue and wit and a knack for making friends with the right people
